I AM CURRENTLY CLOSED FOR DOULA SERVICES, AS I AM ON MATERNITY LEAVE. I AM TAKING CLIENT INQUIRIES WITH A DUE DATE OF APRIL 2025 AND BEYOND, THANK YOU!

Your body. Your rules.

A doula is a trained professional who provides physical, emotional, and educational support to a birthing person before, during, and after birth — and whose work has been proven effective.

I offer holistic, evidence-based doula services. The outcome could be birth, it could be abortion, it could be surrogacy, or adoption. My goal is to offer you the support and encouragement you need as you embark on this experience.

I serve Metro Atlanta; including home births, Atlanta Birth Center, Kennestone Hospital, North Fulton Hospital, Atlanta Medical Center, Dekalb Medical Center, and other area hospitals and clinics. I also provide abortion doula services for those seeking care in the Atlanta-area.

I do not provide services at any of the Northside Hospital branches.

Hi, there.

I'm Columbia!

My journey began in 2014, after watching the documentary, The Business of Being Born. I was shocked at how medical and sterile birth had become and how unfairly some pregnant people are treated.

From there, I spent the next three years devouring anything and everything related to birth. I attended my first birth as a doula (unknowingly) in 2017 when my goddaughter was born, and I fell in love with doula work.

I married my husband in late 2017, and in early 2019 I found out I was pregnant with my daughter. My pregnancy was one of the most enjoyable times of my life. I gave birth vaginally in a hospital transfer from Atlanta Birth Center, to Atlanta Medical Center in November 2019. I have my birth team to thank for solidifying my passion for other people to have the experience I was blessed with. I believe information is our greatest tool. I will provide you with evidence-based information from a holistic standpoint.

Outside of being a doula, I love to travel. I enjoy visiting new and familiar places with my family. I love cooking, reading, and listening to crime podcasts. I never turn down a taco or a glass of champagne.

I will also give you a list of resources for abortion care, funding, and mental support. Client Testimonials

"Hiring Columbia as my doula was the best thing I did for my pregnancy! I really wanted to experience a natural birth, and I was afraid that without the necessary support I would not be able to do it. She helped me advocate for myself and find a new doctor when mine was not respectful of my birth plan. She was, and still is always available for any and all pregnancy related questions. She worked tirelessly throughout my entire labor to encourage me and help manage my pain-as well as helped teach my husband how to support me throughout labor. I do not think I could have gone unmedicated without her help! You will not regret working with her!"

"Coco is an amazing person and great at what she does. When searching for a doula for my first birth, I was looking for an advocate. That’s what she is! She helped me make informed decisions and was always on lookout for misinformation or unwanted interventions during my birth. She helped educate me before birth, come up with a birth plan, and was my personal cheerleader and coach when it came time for labor. She helped me exhaust all options (many of which I didn’t know existed) before I asked for any sort of medication. I am certain that without her guidance and support, my birth would have been much different and not what I wanted or planned for. She also managed to flawlessly capture all the precious and most important moments of my life on camera. We thank God for you Columbia!!"

"Columbia has truly found her calling as a doula and birth photographer. Having her as our doula for my VBAC was one of the best decisions we made for our delivery. Not only does she possess a wealth of knowledge about the birthing journey, but her warm and calming energy provided me with much needed reassurance throughout my entire labor. She worked so well with my husband and I and always supported what we wanted. I am so glad that we were led to her and that we were able to share such an amazing birth experience with her. She will forever hold a special place in our hearts!"

"From the moment I thought about having children I knew I wanted a doula. I researched and found Columbia. My wife and I did IVF, so our process started some time before an actual pregnancy. Columbia was there every step of the way. She checked in to see how things were going. Fast forward to our second embryo transfer and our embryo stuck. I went ahead and officially booked her as our doula and started to prepare for the arrival of our Q. When it came to labor and delivery, we discussed the plan of having a natural birth with minimal intervention, but the alternative happened. Columbia was still there every step of the way helping my partner and I to stay calm and helping us to make informed decisions. She also came to our home to do a new born photoshoot. Booking Columbia was one of the best decisions we made and if we decide to go on this journey again Columbia will definitely be our first choice !"
